Micromax has recently launched 2 new smartphones in the entry level budget segment. The Bolt A37 and A37B, both these smartphones do not have any major difference except connectivity options. Check out the complete features of the Micromax Bolt A37 below.

OS & Processor

The Bolt A37B smartphone has the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2 Operating System installed in it, the latest OS brings all the latest Apps and Games via Google Playstore. A lot of entry level budget droids come with single core processor, but this one has a MediaTek 6572 Dual-Core processor with a clock speed of 1GHz per core.

Hardware

The Micromax Bolt A37B sports a 3.5-inch capacitive multi touch display with a resolution of 320x480 pixels. With this display size the device is very compact and is easy to use with one hand. It comes in a bar shaped design featuring the physical buttons on the sides and capacitive touch buttons at the bottom. There is a 1,450mAH battery powering this smartphone.

Camera & Memory

Being an entry level budget smartphone one would not expect it to come with good cameras and high storage capacity. This smartphone houses a 2MP rear camera with fixed focus, there is no LED flash and autofocus feature on this device. The memory department on this device is handled by a 512MB ROM which leaves about 107MB for applications.

Media & Connectivity

Playing media and sharing files is a standard android affair. The device offers dedicated music and video player with support for a few formats. It brings access to Google Playstore which has a millions of applications and games to download from. On connectivity front this smartphone has only 2G connectivity on board which allows the users to connect to Data connections using Edge and GPRS bands. It further has Bluetooth and WiFi for wireless data transfer and WLAN connections, micro USB on the device assists the user with PC connectivity and data transfer.
