Sony Xperia E1 dual
Sony is slowly increasing its share in the
budget smartphones in the market. With the latest Xperia E1 Dual, Sony
marks its presence in the budget segment in 2014, this smartphone is the
successor model of the Xperia E launched last year. This smartphone has
same features as the Xperia E1 the only difference is that this one

OS & Processor
Budget smartphones don’t offer too much high tech
features, but they offer great performance in all other aspects. The
latest Xperia E1 Dual smartphone comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
Operating System, it comes with all the latest compatibility and
features on board. It is powered by a Dual Core 1.2GHz Qualcomm
processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
Hardware
The Xperia E1 Dual comes with 4-inch multi touch
capacitive display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels translating to a
pixel density of 233 PPI. The device comes equipped with Accelerometer,
Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor and Compass. On the power front
it is loaded with a 1,750mAH battery giving it a talk time of more than 8
hours on 3G.
Camera & Memory
Sony is pretty much popular worldwide for making
quality camera smartphones, but don’t expect too much from this latest
budget offering as this one comes with a mere 3.2MP rear camera
befriended with a VGA resolution front-facing camera for video calling
purpose. It packs almost similar amount of 4G ROM what most budget
smartphones offer and allows memory expansion up to 32GB using micro SD
cards.
Media & Connectivity
On the media front this smartphone comes with
dedicated players for both videos and music with multi format support.
The 4-inch display offers good gaming experience and offers bright
visuals. The connectivity department on this device has pretty much
common features and comes with 3G on board. The device can connect to
high speed mobile broadband using 3G and uses WiFi to connect to WLAN
networks. There is Bluetooth for wireless media and data transfer and
allows PC connectivity via micro USB port. This phone also supports Dual
SIM cards and allows Dual Standby.
